Bronzino Baby 07-26-05
Here's
my tip for making decent-looking fine art/photographic morphs: it helps
to use paintings by artists who work in a very hard-edged, linear
style. Bronzino always works well. Elsewhere on this site you'll also
see a lot of Early Netherlandish art for the same reason. If you choose
to use something very painterly like Delacroix or Veronese, you're just
making trouble for yourself. So, basically, in the age-old Poussin vs.
Rubens debate, I tend to side with the Poussinistas.
